- Delivery - When would I expect to receive my order? Delivery times vary according to the product and manufacturer. We aim to deliver all orders within 14 days, although we do advise that some orders may take up to 28 days. If you have not been contacted within the usual 14 days and time is of the essence, please call our office for a progress report. We will deliver your order earlier if it is available. On all larger orders we will contact you before the despatch of your order to arrange a suitable date for delivery. Deliveries will be made using our selected courier company or through a more practical source if available. Due to the nature of the courier firm we are able to specify a delivery date, although we are unable to specify a delivery time during the day.
- Fitters - Are the fitters employed by Flamesurge HETAS registered? Yes, all of our fitters we use for Wood and multi-fuel stoves are Hetas registered.
- Are the fitters Gas Safe Registered? Yes, all of our fitters we use for gas fires and installations are Gas Safe Registered. www.hetas.co.uk
- Gas Safe -What is Gas safe? The Gas Safe Register replaced the Corgi Gas Register in Great Britain and the Isle of Man on 1st April 2009 www.gassaferegister.co.uk.
Look for the yellow Gas Safe Register triangle not the orange CORGI registration badge. Anyone carrying out work on gas must be registered with Gas Safe Register. If not, they are breaking the law and putting you and your family at risk.
Only a Gas Safe registered engineer is legally allowed to install gas appliances, boilers, hobs, ovens or fires in your home or workplace. You must only use a Gas Safe registered engineer for any type of gas work, including installation, maintenance and servicing.
- HETAS - What is HETAS? HETAS is the official body recognised by government to approve solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services. Its work in Approving products covers boilers, cookers, open fires and stoves and room heaters. It also lists in its Official Guide, factory made chimneys and carbon monoxide detectors and alarms suitable for use with solid fuel. www.hetas.co.uk
